Lara K. Simon

Goldman & Minton, P.C. is proud to announce that Lara K. Simon has joined the firm as a new associate. Lara is a 2001 honors graduate of the University of Maryland and a 2005 graduate of American University, Washington College of Law. While in law school, as a member of the Intellectual Property Law Clinic, Ms. Simon worked with clients on a variety of copyright, trademark, and business issues. She is already making valuable contributions the firm’s clients in that field, and has conducted several seminars for Baltimore artists in our new offices. Ms. Simon is also developing her litigation practice. She has a very strong base to build upon, having clerked last year for the Honorable Chief Judge Jerome M. Polaha of the Second Judicial District Court of the State of Nevada. She was excited to act as “second seat” for Tom Minton in a recent three-day trial in Baltimore City Circuit Court involving a complex family will dispute. Her forceful oral argument on a key pre-trial motion and her witness preparation efforts were key factors in producing a complete victory for G&M’s clients in that matter.
